What can you do? Wait for 1 to 6 hours and the problem should be fixed. This is because the app is partially down for some people, but not everyone.

You can try using another device to sign in and use Facebook, this may work if you’ve not to be shadowbanned.

You can also use the Facebook web. Go to your web browser and type facebook.com, you’ll be able to access the site and see the latest from your feed.

Fix 1: Change Internet Connection

If you have been using your cellular network before, you’ll need to switch to Wi-Fi or the reverse.

Fix 2: Refresh Facebook [Close And Open]

If Facebook is not working properly, you can restart the app by force-stopping the app and background refreshing.

If you’re using an Android device, you can force stop the app and it will stop it from running in the background. Then open the app again.

For Android: Go to your phone Settings > Tap on Apps & notifications > Tap on App info or See All [Num] apps > Then find Facebook app > Mobile data & Wi-Fi > Toggle on Background data.

Since you can’t directly clear cache on the Facebook app, or from the iPhone Settings, you’ll need to offload the app.

For iPhone: Go to your iPhone Settings > And then tap on General > Tap iPhone Storage > Then find the Facebook app and open it > And tap on Offload App button.

After you’ve offloaded the app from your iPhone, you’ll need to reinstall it back from the Apple App Store.

Fix 5: Clear Facebook Data [Android]

For Android users, clearing app data can make any problem go away without uninstalling the app from your phone.

If you own an Android device, and your Facebook app is not working, you can clear the data and everything including your account will be removed from the app.

You’ll need to sign in back to your account, and then you’ll be able to use the app again.

For Android: Go to your phone Settings > Tap on Apps & notifications > Tap on App info or See All [Num] apps > And then find the Facebook app > Tap on Storage & Cache > Tap on Clear Storage.

This can help solve the problem on the Facebook site, all you’ve to do is clear browsing data.

For Chrome, And Other Chromium Browser

Open any Chromium browser > Press Ctrl+Shift+Dlt and you’ll see the Clear Browsing Data box pop up > Choose the Time Range > Choose Cookies and other site data > And Choose Cached images and files > And then, click on Clear now.

For Mozilla Firefox

Open Firebox > And click on your Tools bar > Go to Settings > And select Privacy > Click on Clear your recent history under the History option > Select only the top four options and click on Clear now.

For Safari

Open Safari > And click on the Safari drop-down menu > Select Preferences and go to the Advanced tab > Click on the Show Develop menu in the menu bar checkbox >

Fix 7: Restart Your Device

You can easily fix the Facebook app issue by just restarting your phone. If you’re not able to see videos or log in, you can reboot your device to fix it.
